Survey Manager
A survey records answers anonymously and will not be associated with a name. You will know that a student has taken the survey if there is a checkmark in the gradebook, but it will not allow you to view individual responses, just the total responses. Here are the instructions for accessing the overall results:
Click on the Course Control Panel
Click on the Gradebook link under the Assessment area
Click on the name of your Survey in the Column heading of the gradebook
Select Assessment Attempt Details

Unfortunately, because survey results are recorded anonymously in Blackboard, you cannot clear an individual student attempt at the survey and allow individuals to retake the survey – you can do this with quizzes. And if you make the survey unavailable so you can change the options to allow multiple attempts, you will permanently remove all associated survey results from students who already took the survey.
I would recommend that you access and print out the current survey analysis noting which students have completed the survey. Then make the survey unavailable, and change it to allow multiple attempts and make it available again. After all the students complete the survey, you would need to manually add in the original students’ results.

The Survey Manager feature allows you to create anonymous, non-graded surveys, using the same question types as the Blackboard Test Manager. In surveys correct answers are not identified and a statistical analysis of the answers is provided. This feature can be used for course or instructor evaluations, or to gather demographical information. Instructors can use the Survey Manager to guide course curriculum by asking students questions on pacing, the need for clarification, etc.

You can make your survey available by clicking on the Content Area (Assignments, Course Documents, etc.) where you want the survey posted from within the Control Panel. Look for the Survey option in the Add Other pull-down list on the far right, and click on the GO button. Select your survey from the list offered, and click the Submit button. Click the OK button to finish making your survey available. You will then need to Modify the options to make the survey visible to your students.
