Enroll User

My students from last quarter want me to remove them from my Blackboard course? How do I do this?
NOTE: Gradebook information is lost when a student is deleted from the course. Print out and export your gradebook to Excel before removing students from the course.

To remove students from previous quarters follow these instructions
1. Click the Control Panel button
2. From the User Management Area, Click on Remove Users
3. Click on List All, and then List All again
4. Put a check mark next to the names of each student you wish to remove and then type in the word "Yes" where indicated at the bottom of the page (the word Yes must be typed exactly as shown in Blackboard)
5. Click Submit

I used to be able to set the Enrollment Options, why has this changed?
Due to the changes in the Blackboard system, students are automatically enrolled and removed from your course via daily reports from the Registrar's Office. Instructors no longer have to worry about students finding and enrolling in their courses.

How does an instructor move students from one course section to another so that I can have only one primary course for all my sections?

How do I add my TA to my Blackboard container?
The first thing you need to do is enroll the TA in your Blackboard container. Here are the steps:

1. Enter your course and click Control Panel, then under User Management, click Enroll User.
2. Search according to last name or user name (DU ID) and click Submit.
3. Select the name from the search results and click Submit. Note that by default all new users will be entered as a student.
4. In the Control Panel under User Management click List / Modify User and then click the Search button.
5. A list of all participants will be displayed. Click on the users Properties button next to the name of the student.
6. Select one of the following user roles: Course Builder, Grader, Guest, Instructor, or Teacher’s Assistant

I have a DU high school student enrolled in my college course but they do not show up in my Blackboard course.
By default, only official DU students are enrolled in the blackboard system. Please contact blackboard@du.edu and provide us with the Banner ID and course number in order to get the student into the blackboard course.
