List / Modify Users
Blackboard is integrated with the student information system and the WebPortal and personal information must be updated there. Faculty can adjust their email address and first name in Blackboard. Faculty can also change the role or status of others in their class.

Different roles allow access to different features of the Blackboard system. To modify a role for a person in your course, complete the following steps: 1. In the Control Panel under User Management click List / Modify User and then click List All. 2. A list of all participants will be displayed and click on the users Properties button. 3. Click on a role option you wish to set for that person and click Submit when done.
