Add PowerPoint
There are some compatibility issues with users who are viewing Blackboard using Office XP systems. A problem occurs when viewing PowerPoint files in Blackboard with Internet Explorer on systems with Office XP installed. The PowerPoint presentation will not correctly open when the OpenĀ option is selected.
Work-around solutions:
1. Use Netscape to view PowerPoint Presentations in Blackboard
2. Internet Explorer users should choose the Save option when viewing PowerPoint files in Blackboard, and then open the saved file with PowerPoint.
