Course Management
There are three options for reusing or copying Blackboard course materials from one container to another.
Option 1: Use the Course Copy option within your course control panel to copy course materials into a new existing Bb course container.
Option 2: A Blackboard system administrator can copy/transfer course materials from an existing Blackboard 6 course into a new Blackboard course container.
Option 3: Create a permanent course container to store your course materials.
Refer to the web page below for detailed instructions for each option.

A permanent Blackboard container is a Blackboard class used to store course materials to reuse in a future term. Instructors can create one permanent container to store Blackboard content for several courses, or create a permanent container for each course they teach. Permanent containers are useful for courses an instructor may only teach once per year, or every other year. Permanent Blackboard 6 course containers will be stored on the Blackboard server until the instructor requests deletion. Materials in the permanent container can be copied into the new Blackboard container the next time the class is taught. All other Blackboard course containers from previous terms will remain visible to instructors for 12 months and eventually be removed from the server.
