When I embed a DU CourseMedia video in Blackboard, using the embed code from the new media player, the video automatically begins playing when the page where it resides is opened. This is a problem especially when there are multiple videos on the same page. Videos previously embedded with the old DUVAGA player do not have this issue, even when copied from an old course container to a new one. How can this “autoplay” feature be disabled?
Answer: The DU CourseMedia media player is set up to begin playing when opened. Currently there is no option to disable “autoplay” when embedding a video from DU Coursemedia.

Work-around: Create a separate folder for each embedded video. Once the folder is opened, the video will start playing.
