What is Blackboard?

Blackboard is a learning management system that allows instructors to deliver online resources and learning activities to their students. Your instructors may use Blackboard to:

  • post a syllabus and other electronic course materials
  • email the class
  • create online discussions
  • post student grades
  • and more depending on the instructor

How do I log into Blackboard?

You can access the Blackboard login at http://blackboard.du.edu. Your Blackboard username is your DU ID. Your Blackboard password is your DU Passcode (PIN). Be advised that not all of your instructors may use Blackboard.

Note: If you don't see your course, please check with your instructor to make sure they are teaching with Blackboard.

Blackboard courses are also available within WebCentral. Click on the Courses tab to access Blackboard from within WebCentral.
