Building Blocks

Building blocks are additional tools or features that have been added to Blackboard. Below is a sample of building blocks available at DU:

Blog – tool to create blogs within Blackboard.
Backpack – allows instructors or students to download Bb courses to view offline.
Respondus – tool that converts an existing quiz or exam to a Blackboard test or survey.
StudyMate – tool that allows instructors to create interactive study materials such as flashcards or crossword puzzles.
Voice Tools – tool that allows instructors to easily integrate audio into their Blackboard course
Wiki – tool that allows users to create a collaborate website within Blackboard.
